For me, Christmas is about creating traditions and magic that can be cherished for generations to come. The Christmas season is not just about the presents under the tree, but the memories and traditions that are passed down through the years. That's where our stockings and sacks come in. Made with Liberty London prints, paired with buttery velvets and classic gingham and striped linen, the magic comes in the wrapping of the gifts which is sometimes better than what lies inside. 

Each piece in the range is intended to become an heirloom in your Christmas collection, holding sentimental value and to be passed down from one generation to the next. I use Liberty London prints because of their timeless quality. The brand's heritage dates back to the 19th century, making it a true classic, each print tells a story and adds a touch of elegance to any piece it adorns. 

Customers often buy sacks and stockings for baby's first Christmas and it makes the perfect gift, the start of years of traditions yet to be created giving a sense of continuity and connection with the past.

This year, the prints are full of magic and wonder. With a smattering of metallics and stars, these prints evoke a sense of festive cheer and luxury.  The intricate designs and shimmering details add an extra touch of magic to your Christmas celebrations. I've also introduced a gingham into the linen sacks which I love.

Bows are still going to be very popular this year and for the next few years, I predict. Again, they're a classic style, nothing that revolutionary yet they feel like they've brought nostalgia, femininity and a new look all at once. I love to use them on doors, shelves, atop a tree. We have them in striped linens again as well as some new Liberty Prints.

I care deeply about sustainability and this is why we use linen and GOTS cotton fabrics to produce each piece. I had hoped to have found a cotton velvet this year but unfortunately can't find one to compete with our current polyester base. However I am still limiting this to stockings as I was building up waste fabric making stockings and sacks and so it's the right decision to be responsible.

This year I've found a use for all the Liberty scraps I've been building for the last few years with the decoupage craft packs, it's the perfect craft to do with your little ones at advent. Or keep it for yourself as some mindful Christmas crafting.
